Dr Jose Paul completed his BDS in 1994 from the MGR Medical University, Chennai. After a short stint at private practice he went on to join the prestigious Government Dental College, Trivandrum and completed his post-graduation in Periodontology in 2001.

He’s into teaching since 2002 and presently he is the Students Dean & Head of the Department of Periodontics and Implantology at Annoor Dental College, Muvattupuzha. He is also a mentor and guide training post graduate students in periodontology under the Kerala University of Health sciences. Numerous research projects are overseen by him and is credited with numerous scientific publications in national and international peer reviewed journals.
Dr Jose is well versed in the field of advanced periodontal surgical procedures including all types of bone and soft tissue grafting. All implant surgical solutions are done by him. He is also well experienced in periodontal plastic surgeries including coverage of recessed gums and depigmentation of dark gums. Gummy smile management and preprosthetic surgeries are routinely carried out by him.
In 2003 he was awarded the 'Young Scientist award' by the Government of Kerala for his pioneering work on Platelet Rich Plasma.
He is an invited speaker at various scientific gatherings including post graduate workshops and conventions.
